HAPPY NEW YEAR! May this coming year be safe, happy, prosperous and a healthy one for all the members and lurkers on LPinformation.com.
In keeping with the common practice of making new year resolutions, here's a suggested list:
1) If have some college courses under your belt but dropped away, go back and pick-up a class or two. You need to earn that degree.
2) If you never have taken a college class, this is the year to enroll and take at least one class and get the ball rolling. You need to earn that degree.
3) If you haven't written and published an article on Loss Prevention, write one this year.
You need to get something published.
4) If you don't have a Loss Prevention/Security library, start one this year. Start off by purchasing a book on Amazon.com (a used one is okay), read the book and it will launch your collection (and improve your understanding of this profession). You need a library.
2010 IS THE YEAR FOR YOUR PROFESSIONAL GROWTH. Don't let the year get away from you. In 12 months you can look back with pride on what you've accomplished, OR, look back with nothing special to be proud of. The choice is yours. Thank God you've got a choice!
