Loss Prevention Director (D.C.)
Position Description
This position provides Loss Prevention services within multiple distribution facilities and throughout the supply chain. Individual must have and continue to develop strong working knowledge of internal controls and processes, the company supply chain, safety issues, systems and physical security. Hires, develops and manages Loss Prevention team.
Responsibilities
- Working with Corporate, directs all Loss Prevention programs and investigations
- Supervises LP Managers and other team members as assigned
- Identifies key business opportunities and shrinkage reduction programs
- Build constructive and effective relationships with business partners
- Assist in preparation of annual budget and continuous monitoring of budget
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Supervisory experience in fast-paced distribution environment
- Complete understanding of a retail supply chain process including imports, distribution functions and store deliveries
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with confidence. 7-10 years of loss prevention or related experience
