Sr. Loss Prevention Manager/Assistant Director

Position Description

This position is responsible for contributing to the development of the company’s shrinkage reduction efforts in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and manage the Loss Prevention methodologies and efforts in stores
  • Build, develop and manage the Loss Prevention team
  • Establish strong relationships throughout the entire organization
  • Maintain expense controls to achieve the company's financial objectives
  • Maintain an acceptable shrinkage level in a professional and cost effective manner
  • Improve the organization's profit while minimizing their legal exposures
  • Work with the Distribution and Corporate Support teams to control shrinkage

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • 7 years loss prevention experience
  • 3-5 years in a multi-store environment
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage people in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Proven history of successful shrinkage reduction efforts
  • Thorough understanding of retail operations, inventory control and reconciliation, current technological applications, organizational management, and budget administration
